Shipment Connector
Release note - September 2026
Section titled “Release note - September 2026”Shipment Connector for Business Central Cloud
- Released version: 5.9.0.0
Changes in this release
Section titled “Changes in this release”[Update] Shipment Log Entries Now Link Directly to Related Documents
Section titled “[Update] Shipment Log Entries Now Link Directly to Related Documents”Document, shipment, and invoice numbers shown in the Shipment Log and the Track & Trace List can now be chosen to open the related document directly.
What has been done:
- Added captions and drill-down tooltips to the Document No., Shipment No., and Invoice No. fields on the Shipment Log and Track & Trace List pages
- Choosing one of these numbers now opens the related source document, posted shipment, or posted invoice directly, instead of only displaying the number
Usability notes:
- You can now jump straight from a shipment log entry to the document it originated from, the posted shipment, or the posted invoice
- Saves time when investigating or following up on a specific shipment, as there is no longer a need to look up the document manually
[Update] New Type Filter on the Track & Trace List
Section titled “[Update] New Type Filter on the Track & Trace List”A new filter has been added to the Track & Trace List, making it possible to quickly show or hide Warehouse Shipment entries.
What has been done:
- Added a new “Type Filters” group to the Track & Trace List with “Only Warehouse shipments”, “Hide Warehouse shipments”, and “Clear Type filters” actions
- Added a new “Track & Trace Type Filter” setting on the Shipment Settings page, which lets you configure a default type filter that is applied automatically whenever the Track & Trace List is opened
Usability notes:
- Makes it easier to focus only on warehouse-shipment-related entries, or to exclude them, depending on your daily workflow
- The default filter can be configured once in Shipment Settings so it is applied automatically every time the page is opened, and can still be changed manually on the page itself
[Fix] More Reliable Shipment Log Updates When Importing Orders from Webshops
Section titled “[Fix] More Reliable Shipment Log Updates When Importing Orders from Webshops”An issue affecting Shipment Log updates for orders imported from webshops has been resolved.
What has been done:
- Fixed an issue in Shipment Core where the Shipment Log entry could, under certain conditions, fail to be updated correctly when the related order was imported from a webshop
- The Shipment Log entry is now only updated when the Invoice No., Shipment No., External Document No., Receiver No., or Receiver Name has actually changed
Usability notes:
- Shipment Log entries created from webshop-imported orders are now updated more reliably
- No action is required — the fix is applied automatically
[Fix] nShift Ship: Redownloading Shipping Agent Data No Longer Creates Duplicate Entries
Section titled “[Fix] nShift Ship: Redownloading Shipping Agent Data No Longer Creates Duplicate Entries”This fix applies specifically to the nShift Ship connector.
Redownloading Shipping Agent Services and Package Types from nShift Ship no longer results in duplicate records.
What has been done:
- Fixed an issue where redownloading Shipping Agent Services, and the related Package (Goods) Types, could create new duplicate entries instead of updating the existing ones
- The system now correctly matches existing Shipping Agent Services and Package Types before deciding whether to insert a new record or update an existing one
Usability notes:
- Refreshing Shipping Agent data from nShift Ship will no longer create duplicate Shipping Agent Services or Package Types
- Existing setup data is now updated correctly instead of being duplicated, keeping your setup clean
[Update] Shipmondo: Longer Additional Service Codes Now Supported
Section titled “[Update] Shipmondo: Longer Additional Service Codes Now Supported”This change applies specifically to the Shipmondo connector.
Additional Services received from Shipmondo with codes longer than 20 characters can now be downloaded and used without issues.
What has been done:
- Changed how Additional Service codes received from Shipmondo are stored, so that codes longer than 20 characters no longer cause problems
- The system now generates a valid, shortened Code value internally while still correctly identifying and matching the full service
Usability notes:
- Additional Services with longer codes from Shipmondo can now be downloaded and used without errors
- No action is required — this is handled automatically when fetching data from Shipmondo
