- Released version: 5.8.0.0
Changes in this release
Section titled “Changes in this release”[Fix] Shipping Agent Change Now Correctly Updates Waybill Lines
Section titled “[Fix] Shipping Agent Change Now Correctly Updates Waybill Lines”Changing the Shipping Agent or Shipping Agent Service on a document now properly updates all related waybill lines.
What has been done:
- Fixed an issue in Shipment Core where switching the Shipping Agent or Shipping Agent Service on a Sales Order, Transfer Order, or Warehouse Shipment did not correctly update the associated waybill lines
- The waybill lines now reflect the new carrier selection immediately after the change is made
Usability notes:
- If you change the carrier on a document, the waybill lines will now always be updated to match — no manual correction needed
- This prevents situations where the wrong carrier information could be sent to the shipping provider
[Fix] Goods Content Naming Corrected in Shipmondo
Section titled “[Fix] Goods Content Naming Corrected in Shipmondo”This fix applies specifically to the Shipmondo connector.
A naming error in the goods content data sent to Shipmondo has been corrected.
What has been done:
- Fixed an incorrect field name used when sending goods content information to Shipmondo’s API
- The goods content data is now transmitted with the correct naming, ensuring it is properly received and processed by Shipmondo
Usability notes:
- Shipments with goods content (e.g. customs declarations or parcel contents) will now be sent correctly to Shipmondo
- No action is required — the fix is applied automatically
[Fix] Billing and Pickup Addresses Corrected for nShift Webshipper
Section titled “[Fix] Billing and Pickup Addresses Corrected for nShift Webshipper”This fix applies specifically to the nShift Webshipper connector.
Billing and pickup addresses are now sent correctly when the Parties address system is enabled.
What has been done:
- Fixed an issue where billing and pickup addresses were not correctly resolved when the Parties address system was active in the nShift Webshipper connector
Usability notes:
- Billing and pickup addresses will now always be sent correctly to nShift Webshipper, regardless of which address system is in use
- No action is required — the fix is applied automatically
[Update] Internal Code Quality Improvements
Section titled “[Update] Internal Code Quality Improvements”Significant internal restructuring has been carried out across Shipment Core and the Shipmondo connector to improve reliability and long-term maintainability.
What has been done:
- Refactored Shipment Core internals: printer selection, shipment selection actions, and measurement handling have each been moved into dedicated, purpose-built code units
- Added new code-behind logic for Transfer Shipment, Warehouse Shipment, Waybill Header, and Waybill Line to improve event handling and data consistency
- Restructured the Shipmondo connector with a new API integration layer, updated posting logic, and a new DataObjects system for cleaner handling of addresses, parcels, customs, goods, and service codes
- Removed outdated and redundant code that is no longer needed
Usability notes:
- No visible changes to daily workflows
- These improvements make the solution more stable and lay the groundwork for new features in upcoming releases
