Multi-Carrier Platforms

A Multi-Carrier Platform (Abbreviated as MCP) is a platform that connects with wide array of carriers also referred to as a carrier library. While the various MCP’s share many carriers some also hold a larger carrier library and cover some unique or specific carriers.

Via the MCP’s API it is possible for the Shipment Connector to utilise that carrier library and cover users preferred carrier and the functionality of said MCP. While they may differ slightly in look and functionality the majority support the core functionalities of shipments such as multi-shipments, Loading meter, Customs (Paperless invoicing) & Dangerous Goods (ADR).

The supported multi-carrier platforms of the Shipment Connectors are:

• nShift Ship.
• nShift Webshipper.
• nShift Transsmart.
