Multi Entity Management
Release note - March 2026
Section titled “Release note - March 2026”Multi Entity Management for Business Central Cloud
- Released version: 8.3.0.0
Changes in this release
Section titled “Changes in this release”[Update] Replication Schema System Rework
Section titled “[Update] Replication Schema System Rework”The Replication Schema system has been completely reworked to improve performance and provide better control over data replication configurations.
What has been done:
- Redesigned the entire Replication Schema system architecture
- Improved the underlying data structure for better performance
- Enhanced the user interface for managing replication schemas
- Optimized database queries and processing logic
Usability notes:
- Users will experience faster response times when working with replication schemas
- The improved system provides better scalability for environments with complex replication setups
- Existing replication schemas will continue to work, but users may notice improved performance
- Configuration and management of replication schemas is now more intuitive
[Update] Improved Deletion Process for Replication Allocation
Section titled “[Update] Improved Deletion Process for Replication Allocation”Deleting multiple Replication Allocation entries is now more efficient and user-friendly, eliminating repetitive confirmation prompts.
What has been done:
- Modified the deletion process to handle multiple entries in a single operation
- Removed individual confirmation prompts for each entry deletion
- Implemented batch deletion functionality for Replication Allocation entries
Usability notes:
- Users can now delete multiple Replication Allocation entries without being prompted for each individual entry
- This significantly speeds up cleanup and maintenance tasks
- Bulk deletion operations are now more efficient and less time-consuming
- The improved workflow reduces user fatigue during administrative tasks
[Update] Optimized Subscription Status Toggle Behavior
Section titled “[Update] Optimized Subscription Status Toggle Behavior”The subscription status toggle on Replication Allocation now features smarter logic that prevents unnecessary status changes on associated tables.
What has been done:
- Enhanced the logic for toggling subscription status on Replication Allocation entries
- Implemented intelligent detection of related Associated tables
- Added conditional logic to prevent status changes when all other relations already have the same status
- Reduced unnecessary database updates and processing overhead
Usability notes:
- The system now automatically detects when status changes would be redundant
- Associated tables are only updated when necessary, improving system performance
- Users will notice faster response times when toggling subscription status
- This prevents potential conflicts and maintains data consistency across related tables
- The improved logic reduces the risk of unintended side effects when managing subscriptions
Upgrade Considerations
Section titled “Upgrade Considerations”- The Replication Schema system has been reworked, but existing configurations remain compatible
- Users should review their Replication Allocation deletion workflows to take advantage of the new batch deletion capability
- No manual intervention is required for the subscription status toggle improvements - the enhanced logic works automatically
- It is recommended to test replication configurations in a sandbox environment before upgrading production systems
