1.1 Replication Template to discontinue Replication Schema.

Section titled “1.1 Replication Template to discontinue Replication Schema.”

We have been working on a new way of creating replication schemas. We would like to introduce the “Replication Template”.

I looks a lot like the replication schema but with a lot of enhanced functionality, and easier changes for existing replication.

NOTE: You dont have to activate it right away, when you want to add to an existing replication schema, you can copy it to a template. We’ve also added an action for that(a guide for transitioning is described after this intro):

Picture 1

In order to access the Replication Template you simply navigate from the front page of the Master Data Rolecenter

Picture 2

You then open up the Replication Template and the setup looks a lot like the old Replication Card.

Picture 3

You have the Template Company name in Coloumn 1, Table ID in Column 2(This now only shows tables that are added in the Mastercompany/publisher company) You then have the checkmark for subscribe/not subscribe and we have added Custom Records on the replication template.

Press “Yes” to the pop-up. this will not overwrite any existing data. This kan be done table by table from the “Replication Template”, if needed.

2.1 Performance enhanced for Cross database replication

Section titled “2.1 Performance enhanced for Cross database replication”

Performance have been greatly improved regarding cross database replication. Instead of tranferring changes immediately MEM will now queue changes and run them i a background session.

This can also be toggled on/off. You find the field from the Rolecenter as shown below:

Picture 8

The field is by default set to “Legacy(defrault)”
