Multi Entity Management

On premises environement installation

Step by step guide

  1. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partner to do the following task

    • Add module 5.234.650 Multi Entity Management to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central License files (.flf/.bclicense). The module are build ad target to cloud and come with no cost.

    • Deliver the Multi Entity Management app installation file.

    To find a list over XtensionIT partners in your country go to the XtensionIT partner page.

  2. The Multi Entity Management app installation file will be delivered as a .ZIP file.

  3. Unzip the file and Rename all file-extension from “.txt” to “.app”.

  4. Publish and Install the Extension

    • XtensionIT Aps_Multi Entity Management by XtensionIT_X.xx.x.xxxx.app

  1. Use the following commands in Business Central Administration Shell for installing each app: Microsoft learn: Publishing and installing an extension

    Multi Entity Management:

    • Publish-NAVApp -serverinstance -Path “\XtensionIT Aps_Multi Entity Management by XtensionIT_X.xx.x.xxxx.app”

    • Sync-NAVApp -ServerInstance -Name “Multi Entity Management by XtensionIT” -Version X.xx.x.xxxx -Mode Add

    • Install-NAVApp -ServerInstance -Name “Multi Entity Management by XtensionIT” -Version X.xx.x.xxxx
